To Read or not to Read

I made a goal for myself, to Read 100 by the end of the year 2018. To be honest I only read 3 books going on 4. The book I’ve been reading is called The Hate U Give By Angie Thomas. She is an outstanding author and I recommend you guys to give this book a try. Suggest at your next book club meeting or next school assignment. Trust me; you’ll never wanna put the book down, I’m almost done and I don’t want it to end. I might read it a second time.

Angie Thomas was born and raise in Jackson Mississippi, still lives there. She was former  teen rapper whose greatest accomplishment was this book, her first novel and I can’t wait to read more of her work. She earn her BFA in Creative Writing, which to me is outstanding job. (My Source from her book).

Facts about Angie Thomas: born 1988
Earn her BFA in Belhaven University (A predominately white Christian college in Mississippi)
Her mother only daughter but has many half brothers
First black student to graduate creative writing in her class
Has 2 books right now:
THE HATE U GIVE -2017
On the Come Up- in works- 2019
Won many awards for her book: Inaugural award from the - We Need Diverse Books, William C. Award. In 2018.

I was diagnosed with this disease at the age of 19 in 2014 so 6 years ago. I had a couple of flare ups that would put me in the ER for a week or two. My systems are: weight loss, dizziness, blood loss, and tiredness. I take meds to for it; to control it. I want to tell you my story of this disease. But I wanna know you’re story. When did it happen and what do you to handle I? Do you write what you eat? Many people deal with this sickness in their own way and I wanna heard your story. Why I Love Fall πŸπŸπŸπŸπŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ‚πŸ‚

Why I love Fall? As the season starts to change from summer to fall, the way the leaves change colors. The way the wind feels on my face. It makes me wonder why Autumn is my second favorite season besides summer. It’s not that cold outside but very breezy but warm. I also love the Fall fashion that come along. The warm coats, boots, gloves, and hats. This season is perfect for photo sessions and picnics. Also being by  the fire at home or outside, drinking hot coco with mini marshmallows makes me feel nice and warm inside after a long day. Just kick back in cozy pjs and slippers is another reason why I love Fall/Autumn. Autumn is not just a season but a name around the world. It’s a very common name for girl. Anyway there also a lot of good  books to read to like a fall book club. I don’t know but I do know that Fall will never go out of  season if you ask me. Do you ever wonder why this season has 2 names while the other seasons has only 1 name? That always got me...
